OUR HISTORY
ÖZMAK is founded in 1985 by Feridun F. Ozbay. Owing to his background in porcelain Industry, initially OZMAK was specialized on supplying equipments and machinery to this sector. In a short time, OZMAK has become the leading company in the field of producing equipment for the ceramic, brick and tile industry.
In 1989, the second generation of the family has taken the management over. Dr. Hakan Ö. ÖZBAY has become the general manager of the company. His academic background and experience as a researcher has brought a new vision to the company. With his scientific and innovative approach, OZMAK has widened its projects in a various fields ranging from glass to defense industry. Under his leadership, OZMAK focused on international markets and first brand “VESTA” was launched in Glasstec 2004.
In 2005, OZMAK has become added the architectue company aspect to engineering,. Dr. Elif ÖZBAY started to contribute to the company in this field and became responsible for the architectural projects, operting under the brand name “ILIA”.
Since then, OZMAK is acting as the mother company which operates under the eight different brands.
